Speaker/Teacher

It is said that writers must speak and speakers must write. With that in mind, I offer workshops on writing or spiritual development.

In 2004, I journeyed to New Jersey for CLASS (Christian Leaders Authors Speakers Service) with Florence & Marita Littauer. They encouraged me at that time to begin my own speaking ministry. It’s coming about in a different way. In the past, I’ve spoken at and led ladies’ retreats,  Mother-Daughter banquets, and presented workshops on both writing and spiritual development at one- and two-day conferences/retreats. From 2003 until 2006, I led a women’s Bible study in my home. My background in community theatre gives me additional confidence in public speaking.

Workshops Available:

Healing from Rejection — Does rejection of any kind seem to derail you for a significant amount of time? Learn how to receive healing and put the past behind you. Can be formatted as a weekend retreat, a shorter one-day workshop, or an approximate one-hour basic introduction to rejection.

Praying for the Sick — Using the Five-Step Prayer Model from Global Awakening, learn how to increase the odds of healing, increase your faith, and see more miracles!

Praying for Emotional Healing — Learn to identify and pray for the healing of several common emotional wounds, such as rejection, inner vows, performance orientation, and others.

Non-Scary Deliverance — Deliverance shouldn’t be scary or noisy. Learn to use the authority given to you by Christ Himself to bring freedom to someone else. Not a mass deliverance service, but how to bring freedom one person at a time, as in a prayer counseling type setting, with a team.

The Biblical Basis for Healing — Three doctrines of the church give us a solid foundation for knowing that God still heals today (the atonement, the covenant, and the kingdom of God). Learn what those three doctrines are and increase your faith to believe in supernatural healing.

WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Women in Church History — Most people have heard of St. Patrick, Martin Luther and many others throughout church history. But have you heard of Maria Woodworth-Etter, St. Teresa of Avila, and others? How has the ministry of women influenced the church as we know it, today, as well as the past? Explore the pages of the past to see where we have come from and to see where we might go from here.

Women of the Bible — The Bible is our source of knowledge of scripture. God raised up women to do mighty works. Women such as Rahab, Deborah, Ruth, Jael, plus Mary, the mother of Jesus, and Mary Magdalene, to encourage us. What can we learn from their lives that will help us along our way?

THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Gifts of the Charismata — teaching on the nine spiritual gifts of the charismata as listed in 1 Cor. 12. What they are, what they do, and how God uses people to bring about His purposes in the earth today.

The Kingdom of God — What is it? Where is it? Are we in it? How do we get there? Is it shrinking in the Last Days, or expanding? What can we expect God to do through His kingdom here on earth today?
