Rejection Issues
Rejection – Merriam-Webster defines it as the action of rejecting or the state of being rejected. Synonyms are: contradiction, denegation, disallowance, disavowal, disclaimer, disconfirmation, negation, denial, repudiation.
Here’s MY definition: putting away someone, not accepting them for who they are, or what they do.
We’ve all suffered some sort of rejection in our lives. For some of us though, it’s worse than others. Have you ever wondered why? I have.
I didn’t even know what it was. I had no idea why I was so shy that my Aunt Juanita didn’t know for sure whether I would talk (because I was evidently frightened by her) until I was five. I used to hide behind my mother’s skirts.
I didn’t know why I was so sensitive. Why did things seem to hurt me more than they did other people?
If you’ve suffered any form of rejection and it has affected your life – WELCOME!
You are WELCOME HERE!
I can say that I love you and accept you without even meeting you. Why? That’s the subject of these pages, these posts.
Let’s journey to love and acceptance together.
WELCOME!
