GATS Brazil Trip – Part 2

Wonderful Healings

Brazil is a country of extreme darkness and extreme light. When we got there, our leaders told us “Don’t ever watch any television down here, especially in the evening. It’s not like TV in the U.S.” The intimation here was that your eyes could see something not suited for your viewing.

Television is part of the deep darkness of Brazil. But in the churches, there is bright light. The Brazilian people are affectionate and open. I am drenched with perspiration, and they want to hug me, thanking me for praying for them. I fell in love with them as a people, made in the image of God, seeking Him as we do.

Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, we went to three different churches for healing services. We always began with words of knowledge, if you don’t know what that is — it’s a condition someone in the service has that God wants to heal right then, and He reveals it to a ministry team member (that’s us). Every team member shared one word of knowledge so that God could heal that condition. Sometimes, the person would be healed of it and wouldn’t come for prayer. Sometimes, they did come for prayer.

Then, people would come for all their requests. And we would pray. And we saw a LOT of results.

Here’s the most amazing of what I saw. A young woman came with some sort of growth under one armpit. I prayed once, and it shrank. I prayed again. It shrank more. (She is feeling under her arm). I prayed a third time, and it disappeared! She couldn’t find it. Bless the Lord. She also had a concern for something on her other breast, so we prayed for that, but only a doctor’s visit would be able to tell her if she was healed. She did say, however, that she felt the presence of God.

A young man came up with lights all around his eyesight during a migraine. I figured that was an ocular migraine and commanded it to go — and it did! No more pain and no more lights! God is good!

A severe itch connected to a skin rash was healed immediately on a young woman.

Many had improvements and cessation of pain of whatever their condition was. Knee problems, back problems, female problems, etc. God heals instantly or nearly immediately in Brazil. Why? I don’t know. Could it be their openness to the Spirit? Or the fact that their medical science isn’t as good? Or because of the deep darkness, there must be brighter light? Could be all of these things.
