Are you a Person of Influence?

You may be overlooked by others, but God will always see you.

You may feel unimportant because of how others treat you, but you are important to God.

You may never be “famous” or even “well known.” But you are part of the MASSES WHO FOLLOW CHRIST not for earthly recognition, but because you love Him and want Him alone. Know that He loves you, too!

Just because you are not a Billy Graham does not mean God doesn’t have a wonderful plan for you, and only you, to fulfill. In your sphere, you will reach people Billy Graham and other “famous” Christians never could, in ways they never could.

Your sphere is where God has placed you. It doesn’t mean your sphere won’t enlarge, it just means you are right where God wants you right now. You will impact everyone in your sphere for the kingdom of God right where you are.

The enemy tells you that you are of no consequence. That is a lie! He wouldn’t tell you that if it was actually true. If you have given your life to Jesus, you are a person of consequence. People should be drawn to the Lord just by meeting and talking with you.

We all want to hear, when we meet Jesus face to face, “Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your reward.” What we do in this life determines what we will do in the next. (See Mt.25:14–30).

Twenty years ago, I feel I heard the Lord say, “Know your ‘venue.’” In other words, know and realize whom you are to serve and whom you are to reach for Christ. Don’t fantasize about being more significant than you are in a humanistic way. Serve the Lord where you are and He will bring increase if He so desires. My venue is small. I do not despise small beginnings, and I never have, because I also believe I heard Him say, “Do you want to have more influence for fewer people, or less influence with many people?”

The “world” looks only at numbers as whether or not you are successful. But God looks at your heart, and places His kingdom within you so that wherever you go, you take Him with you.
