June Blooms — Part III

You’ve heard the saying: “Bloom where you’re planted.” But are you planted in the right place? How would you even know? Let’s explore that today. #JuneBlooms #SeasonShift #GodsTiming4YourLife

“Be at the right place at the right time and all will go well for you.” Yes, well, when I was younger, it seemed as if I could never be at the right place at the right time. I could be in a good place, but things didn’t work out because the time wasn’t right.

I could be in a not-so-good place at a good time.

But that convergence of being at the right place at the right time—alluded me most of my younger days.

It did come together when I met my hubby. That was definitely the right place, right time. I wasn’t ready to be married in my 20s, even though I desired to be. Everyone I knew around me was getting married, but that “right guy” hadn’t come along for me. I was very picky, too. Which is a very good thing. We were both in our 30s and we were ready. I’m so thankful I waited.

Our problem is waiting. We hate to. I know I do. When we’re out of timing, then we could be in the right place but at the wrong time. At that point, whatever it is won’t work out, just like being on time but not at the right place.

Convergence means meeting, conjunction, coming together, etc. Having spent most of my life out of sync with place and time, I have learned a little about waiting. My challenge is that every day I get older. We haven’t placed value on growing older in the last generation or two. My generation, the baby boomers are spoiled.

We want it all and we want it now. And, having transferred that impatience to the succeeding generations, we now face the end of our lives wondering if it’s been worth it.

I believe we’ll be shown the worth of our efforts, but if not, we must choose to believe there is a greater plan at work. God has more for us than we can imagine. I always chuckle at that because I have a huge imagination. And I’ve not seen everything I’m looking for previously to now.

However, I am beginning to. Just within the last year or so, things began to come together for me. It didn’t appear so — but I can attest to it. I’ve always tried to “bloom” where I’m planted. Now it seems, I’m planted, but travel different places at just the right time. Convergence. #JuneBlooms #SeasonShift #GodsTiming4YourLife

Cracked-Pot

We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; let your light shine through your cracked pot. Ring the bells that still can ring, Forget your perfect offering, there is a crack in everything, That's how the light gets in and comes out.
