Unlocking Your Blessings in May—Part II

Yellow irises from my flower box

God is moving. He is shifting times and seasons. How can you partake of the blessings God is pouring out in the month of May? The Bible says have faith in God. We have to believe God will come through and do His part. Click to Tweet #GodsTimingForYourLife #amwriting #UnlockingYourBlessingsInMay2018

These keys are mentioned in the first chapter of Joshua in the Bible.

Key #2: We Will Have to Move in Great Faith

If we’re in God’s timing, we’ll move from chronos to kairos to pleroo.

As Joshua prepared to lead Israel over the Jordan River into the Promised Land, it seemed almost impossible. Joshua had fought battles and seen God win, but he’d also been part of the one Israel lost—because of sin in the camp.

At the time of year that Joshua was to lead Israel across the Jordan, it was at high tide, so to speak. Flood stage. This would be an impossible, impassable journey Joshua was to lead.

Oftentimes, we don’t even know what our next step is or where we’ll end up. But if we have faith that God is leading us, He will take us somewhere.

I’ve alluded to the string of disappointments I went through towards the end of 2016 and into last year. But I believed that somehow, some way, some time, God would do something. I just had no idea what.

Sheets writes, “We will have to believe that God is going to come through and do His part—the impossible—in order to get us to where we need to be.”

This is what I was learning through that string. I held tightly to my faith that said, “God is God. He will do something. I don’t know what, but He is my God. I will exalt Him. I believe He will…”

And He did. Beginning on February 1st, 2017, when I got word that Meghan’s Choice would finally be published.

This year, God is opening doors all around me. He’d told me He would several years ago. It was hard to believe then, but that’s where faith comes in.

We simply believe that God will do what He said He would do. He will come through. In Him time. In His way. Our job is to believe and follow.

When we show faith, God rewards us. He’ll open a door, give provision, perform a miracle. Whatever He said He will do. Let’s believe on His promises and unlock our spiritual blessings this month of May. Click to Tweet #GodsTimingForYourLife #amwriting #UnlockingYourBlessingsInMay2018

Cracked-Pot

We have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; let your light shine through your cracked pot. Ring the bells that still can ring, Forget your perfect offering, there is a crack in everything, That's how the light gets in and comes out.
