We Did it Again!
God is so very good. On Friday, I learned that Rose’s Redemption made the Finals of the 2019 Selah Awards! Meghan’s Choice did last year. It’s such an honor to make the finals because the Selah Award is very prestigious.
A contest of the Blue Ridge Mountain Christian Writers’ Conference (BRMCWC), (one of the largest Christian Writers’ conferences in the country), the Selah Awards are given to the best published works from the year previous. Last year, because Meghan’s Choice was published in 2017, it made the 2018 finals.
So, we’re thrilled to have made the finals in the Western Fiction category, just as Meghan’s Choice did last year. I love entering the Selah Awards because I’m not traditionally published and I don’t have “best-seller” status. The Selahs don’t require that as some other contests do.
The awards will be given out on Wednesday, May 22nd. That’s some time to wait, but we’re very happy about it. Our third western novel, Hannah’s Hope is about halfway through the first draft. We hope to release it later this year. Stay tuned.
Both Meghan’s Choice and Rose’s Redemption are available from Amazon. Here are the links if you’d like to check them out.
